About Renewed Strength, inc.
Our Philosophy
Renewed Strength, Inc. is a residential treatment center designed to help boys aged 7 to 17 with emotional or behavioral problems return to a healthier, more productive and less restrictive environment. Renewed Strength is a licensed by the Texas Health And Human Services Commission. Renewed Strength, Inc. provides a safe, nurturing environment to foster each child's worth.
The Objective
Renewed Strength, Inc. is a 24-hour residential treatment center which offers a group living environment. The highly structured level system provides a forum in which the resident can learn to express their feelings, work through problems, accept responsibility and learn the social skills which will enable them to enter a less restrictive environment.
Education
Residents at Renewed Strength, Inc. will be served by the Aldine Independent School District, which offers one of the finest school programs in the Houston Area. As students in the Aldine School District, the children at Renewed Strength, Inc. will benefit from an extensive array of educational and social activities. Renewed Strength Inc also provides tutorials to residents who are in need of extra support.
Strategic Plan 2020-2022
Renewed Strength’ 2020 - 2022 strategic planning was designed to build upon past accomplishments and to continue Renewed Strength’ position as the premier residential treatment center in the State of Texas. The process was a collaborative effort embraced by the Board, Administrative team and staff. The approach was based on a shared vision, continued commitment to the mission and dedication to the residents and families served by Renewed Strength and its strategic partners.
The following steps were taken within this structured process to develop Renewed Strength’ three-year plan:
• Review of the mission, vision and value statement
• Clear articulation of Organization goals and objectives
• Review and status update of current/previous year’s goals and objectives
• Setting S.M.A.R.T. (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic & timely) goals for 2020-2022
• Drafting new goals and objectives based on the plan of action approved by the Board.
• Creating the Strategic Plan
• Submitting the Strategic Plan to the Board for approval
Renewed Strength’ Strategic Plan will serve as a living document, and as such, the plan will be useful in policy decisions regarding governance, fiscal planning and organizational management and growth. The challenge for Renewed Strength’ stakeholders, Board members and staff is to make the plan a reality. The execution of this plan will position Renewed Strength to take advantage of the exciting opportunities that will be available in the near future.
